During a large-scale
emergency, the ability to rapidly make hundreds or thousands of
notifications with targeted messages could mean the difference between
safety and harm for citizens. REVERSE 911® offers several ways to
enhance calling capacity for those situations that require more
resources than non-emergency sessions.
MassCall™
- When the unthinkable occurs, having REVERSE 911® connected to large
banks of available phone lines is critical for rapidly reaching
emergency response teams and local citizens. With MassCall™, the
REVERSE 911® system is able to launch sessions over thousands of phone
lines simultaneously.
- Allows thousands of calls to be made at one time
- Used in critical situations in which speed is of the utmost importance
- Executed by specifically selecting the MassCall™ option during call session launch
REVERSE911.NET®
- When expanded calling capacity is needed, this patented technology
allows any participating REVERSE 911® systems to temporarily "borrow"
phone lines from a neighboring system. This is an immediate means of
increasing the number of available phone lines.
- Allows one or more REVERSE 911® communities to share phone lines through a mutual agreement
- Allows for higher volume calling and thus quicker delivery
- Used in critical situations when additional lines are needed in order to complete an outbound session much more quickly
- Processes calls sent to a networked REVERSE911.NET® community and returns results to the originating system
Line Grabber
- REVERSE 911® can capture existing phone lines for use when additional
lines are needed to complete a notification session. This proprietary
hardware solution easily makes use of lines only when capacity is an
issue.
- Allows for the
seizure of existing phone lines (such as dedicated fax lines) for
outbound calling use in times requiring additional resources
- Releases lines after the system is finished with associated call sessions
