for a variety of non-emergency purposes. The system provides a means of
continually providing citizens with the information they need.
Residents and business owners can take an active role in their own
safety and security, and they become a valuable resource to local law
enforcement and other municipal agencies.

"We've directed citizens to our REVERSE 911® Community Information Line
in a couple of post-hurricane situations. There we can post information
on how they can obtain aid, and we hopefully discourage them from
calling our 9-1-1 center." Emergency Management Director - Baldwin County, AL | |
